Founded in 1971, North Texas Mountain Valley Water Corporation began as a distributor of Mountain Valley Spring Water from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Over time, the company expanded its services into water filtration. In 2003, it acquired Water Event Pure Water Solutions and began operating under the name Water Event. Following the 2018 acquisition of Mountain Valley Spring by Primo Water, the company sold its Mountain Valley distributorship to Primo in 2021. With this change, the business rebranded and now operates as Texas Water House.

Headquartered in Carrollton, Texas—part of the Dallas/Fort Worth area—Texas Water House runs a combined corporate office, manufacturing facility, and retail store. The production site includes three dedicated bottling lines: one for large packages (3-, 4-, and 5-gallon bottles), another for smaller bottles ranging from 8 ounces to 1.5 liters, and a third for bag-in-box water products.
The company produces and distributes its own Texas Water House brand while also offering private label services. Its custom small-package division designs and bottles water with personalized labels featuring client logos or artwork, shipping these products to customers nationwide.
Beyond bottling, Texas Water House provides comprehensive water filtration solutions. The filtration division serves both residential and commercial needs, offering systems such as Point of Use (POU) and Whole House Point of Entry (POE) installations, water softening, chemical removal, and well water treatment. For larger-scale needs, the commercial division delivers tailored industrial water treatment systems.
