UTILITY HISTORYWestworth Village water: supplied by Fort Worth
Westworth Village's 2025 report says the city purchases its water from the City of Fort Worth. That water comes from surface sources: Lake Worth, Richland-Chambers Reservoir, Eagle Mountain Lake, Cedar Creek Reservoir and the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. The city's water department monitors the water daily and works with Fort Worth when taste or odor changes. Behind Fort Worth stands the Tarrant Regional Water District, established in 1924, which completed Eagle Mountain Lake in 1932 and Cedar Creek in 1965, and in 1987 received a permit to use Benbrook Lake for terminal storage.
