UTILITY HISTORYSeis Lagos Utility District: NTMWD water from Wylie
The Seis Lagos Utility District was first set up as a municipal utility district under Chapter 54 of the Texas Water Code. In 1989 the 71st Legislature converted it into a conservation, utility and reclamation district, and 1993 legislation updated its powers. It describes itself as community-owned and is overseen by an elected board. Federal drinking-water records list its supply as surface water bought from the North Texas Municipal Water District's Wylie plant, and its water quality report publishes the district's Wylie test data. The regional district was created in 1951.
